Privacy Policy

colorcast (“we”, “us”) provides AI-powered seasonal color analysis from a selfie. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. It is written to be read, not to hide things.

Your selfie is never stored

The photo you upload is sent once to our analysis service and the AI model that performs the color analysis. It exists only for the duration of that request and is never written to our database or any persistent storage. We keep only the derived result — your color season, palette, and recommendations — which contains no image.

What we do store

Session recording

We use a self-hosted analytics tool (Umami) to understand how the site is used. This includes recording anonymized sessions — clicks, scrolling, and typing into non-sensitive fields — so we can see where the product is confusing or broken. Recordings are kept for 30 days and then deleted automatically.

Third parties

We share data only with the providers needed to run the product: the AI model provider that performs the analysis (via OpenRouter), Stripe for payments, and Cloudflare for hosting and email delivery. Analytics (including session recording) run on our own self-hosted infrastructure, not a third-party analytics company. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Your choices

You can request deletion of any analysis result or contact details associated with you by emailing us. Because we do not require an account and do not store your photo, the data tied to you is minimal by design.
